Hiscox Europe Underwriting Limited, Branch in Spain ('HEUL Branch in Spain'), is an insurance intermediary with registered offices at Paseo de la Castellana 60, 7th Floor, 28046 Madrid, and CIF W8260282B. It is registered in the Register of Mediators DGSFP and the Companies Registry of Madrid, volume 26622, page 47 and page M-479756. The parent company, Hiscox Europe Underwriting Limited, is a Lloyd’s Coverholder with registered office at 1 Great St. Helens EC3A 6HX London, United Kingdom. It is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (‘FCA’) in the United Kingdom and subject to its supervision. All the entities above are collectively referred to as “Hiscox”.
2. Characteristics and use of the Website
2.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to the website "Hiscox.es" and regulate its use. The use of our website implies the acceptance of these Terms and Conditions in their entirety, without reservations or conditions. Furthermore, you agree to observe any restrictions on use that may be applicable in the country from which you access our website.
This site contains general information about Hiscox and the products and services it offers. Both the Website and its contents are for exclusively commercial purposes and in no way constitute investment advice or of any other nature related to insurance or other products. To receive personalised advice about our products and services, please contact your insurance broker or Hiscox by any of the means set forth in "Contact".
In any case, please note that the products and services of Hiscox, as a general rule, are offered only to final customers through collaborating insurance brokers. Our insurance products cannot be contracted online.

6. Suspension and termination of service
6.1 As the owner of the Website, Hiscox may suspend access to it or operation at any time, for example, for repairs, maintenance or upgrades in its content or functionality. 7. Hiscox “House Rules" for our Social Media
7.1 We are active on Twitter and YouTube channels and our corporate blog in order to maintain a dialogue and engage with anyone interested in what we do. We encourage users to discuss the most interesting questions about our sector. Particularly, we want everyone to feel as comfortable as possible when interacting in our Social Media.
7.2 Hiscox is not liable for any of the comments on its Social Media or digital channels. Comments by Hiscox employees are of a personal nature and are not to be understood as ordered by or made under the direction of the Hiscox Group.
7.3 In order to ensure the content of our digital channels is always of interest, both in relation to the information from Hiscox and comments from third parties, these channels will be moderated periodically with the intention of offering the best possible quality.
For example, the following contents or comments will be deleted:
- Any which may be discriminatory by sex, age, race, etc.
- Spam, including post comments of a promotional or commercial nature.
- Any content that violates the law (intellectual property, unfair competition, etc.), or is obscene, indecent, immoral or false.

We are committed in good faith to investigate any of these notices and to take action as appropriate to the circumstances of each case.
In any case, if a user persists in their offensive behaviour or infractions of the Hiscox Rules, it will block subsequent participation.
7.4 We reserve the right to modify the contents of our Social Media and these Rules at any time, especially as Social Media evolves very rapidly and we want to keep pace with it. Please read them regularly.
7.5 In the case the content you post on any of our channels is of interest to our marketing department, we will contact you to ask your permission to use such content.

These Terms and Conditions, and all other content of this Legal Notice, are subject to Spanish law and should be interpreted in accordance therewith. Access to and use of this website is also subject to said legislation.
